Banja Forest Residence is located in the municipality of Vrnjacka Banja - in the very heart of Serbia, at the foot of Goc mountain. Vrnjacka Banja is the oldest and best-known spa resort in Serbia: its seven mineral springs, sanatoriums, spa hotels, parks and the Vrnjacka river promenade have been renowned since the times of the Roman Empire. The resort centre is only 3 km from the village via a flat asphalt road.
The valley is sheltered on three sides by the forested slopes of Goc, so the climate here is mild and windless: warm summers without exhausting heat, short winters, and summer nights refreshed by mountain air.
